Classes are generally around 18 children and there is setting in Maths, Science and French. The school occupies a large campus with outstanding facilities including a light and airy modern library, a swimming pool and very impressive rooms for Art and DT. Kindness and service to others are at the core of the school’s ethos. This is a school where boys and girls are encouraged to think creatively, to explore the world around them and strive for excellence in every way. The school was founded in 1877, initially to teach the children of the university professors. The school is home to over 800 children, of whom just over 230 are boarders and live in one of the school’s eight cosy boarding houses. Dragon School is a large co-educational prep school located in the university city of Oxford and a school which bustles with purposeful activity.
